We are sorry to announce that SWANS is no longer meeting. We served as a support group for the transgendered community in Knoxville for four years. However, it was not possible for the group's leadership to continue to maintain their previous level of activity due to new personal circumstances and commitments.

We hope that others with a vision will step forward to provide leadership in support, education, and outlets for expression for those in gender transition in this area.
