Our Founder |
Sheri Enteman is our Founder. Back in the late 1960s or early 1970s {she isn't exactly sure} Sheri began inviting TG friends to her home. As time went on it became apparent that an organization should be formed. Eventually, the St. Louis Gateway Femmes came about By the early 1980s the name was changed to St. Louis Gender Foundation.
Today, StLGF has over 100 members! From humble beginnings and because of Sheri's love and concern StLGF mushroomed into one of the most supportive and fun TG organizations in the country!! |
Board of Directors |
sallie, President: I feel that my strength and gift to StLGF is that I am totally dedicated to doing whatever is asked and expected of me to help forward the ideals and principles of our wonderful group. I sincerely hope that 2007-2008 unfolds to be as positive and rewarding for our membership as, we, the board are working to provide. oh, and above all, let's have lots of fun!!!!!

Roxanne, Vice President. I am new to the board, but a long-time member of STLGF. I am pleased to be able to become active in the organization after a schedule-imposed hiatus and am honored to be an officer. The Foundation is an inclusive, supportive and caring group offering a safe place to express one's self. I look forward to making my own modest contribution to the furtherance of the club and it's objectives. |
Shalon, is our newletter editor. From the issues of the Gazette that she has edited, she is an artist. All of us are looking forward to seeing what she has in her palette for the future. She is now a representitive to the Veteran's Administration for the Transgender Community |
Diane, Secretary, has been a member of StLGF since June 1997 and
has written several Gazette articles over the years as
well as making other contributions to the group. She has the support of a loving wife, and at the request
of several close friends/fellow members decided to
make the jump to being on the StLGF Board as
secretary. She is a self-taught 20 year computer nerd
and wishes to help the group any way she can.

Jayme Edwards, Past President.
Jayme has been a member since 1983 and has served as President and Gazette Editor. Her support and the support of her spouse, Andrew, has ensured that StLGF continues as a viable and solidly based transgender support organization. |
Andrew our Treasurer, and this is not a good likeness, but close.
His expertise in financial acumen has ensured that StLGF has remained monetarily stable.
|
Mitchell Smith is our Outreach Coordinator. |
Tessa Kay, Past President, was born on 11/9/98. I have had from the start, and still have, the full support of my wife; to be all the person that I can be. Support and understanding, along with friendship and communication, are the cornerstones for making our group fantastic and educational. Ask any board member, member and/or partner to show you what makes them proud to feel secure and welcome. We all work together to make St.LGF work. |
