Each year we sponsor a Gala Ball in Cedar Rapids. This is an opportunity to spend an evening with friends in a formal banquet setting with a short program to follow the dinner. We encouage our members to display their talents and also recognize those members who have played an important role towards the growth of Iowa Artistry and the membership as a whole.
One of the ways we recognize our members is by giving out what we call, The Hanna Award. This award is the highest honor given by Iowa Artistry to an individual who has given the most to the betterment of this organization.
Hanna was instrumental in the early development of Iowa Artistry. Until her death a few years ago, Hanna constantly opened up her home for meetings and social events.
