6) You must select your level of participation: Select A, M, O, D - Select one or as many as you can.

A = Submit Newsletter Articles (send 3 of them to Newsletter Editor)

M = Attend a Meeting (1 every 6 months)

O = Volunteer to be an Officer (Treasurer, Outreach, Secretary, Welcoming)

D = Donate time when we need Miscellaneous help (meeting chairperson once)

This might possibly be the ONLY FREE TG** group in the nation. Because it’s free, we cannot afford mailings and other cost items like big parties unless the costs are shared with its members. We meet in the New Haven area, in a gorgeous, huge and safe meeting site. Cost to attend a meeting is $5 per person, wives, girl friends, significant others, friends are FREE. We MUST charge because we pay $3. per person for rental of the site, and $2. goes for refreshments.

We publish a electronic monthly newsletter, but we need volunteers to write it and submit anything. (One newsletter was 30 pages long.) How is that for FREE!

We always try to have snacks & drinks for every meeting but it would be nice if people would start bringing snacks & drinks to share with the group.  

We try to have speakers, or a program for each meeting but we need volunteers to help our Meeting Coordinator arrange them. Whoops! We don't even have a Meeting Coordinator! If you would like to fill that empty slot, we would be happy to accept you. It isn't a easy slot to fill but it can be rewarding when everything comes out perfect.

We always try to have a Xmas or Halloween party, but we need volunteers to create it.

I think you get the picture...we can only do so much for FREE. We need YOU to help. THAT'S WHAT A FAMILY DOES!
